Children's Handwriting Therapy

Poor handwriting is stressful for kids and helping them can be a frustrating experience for parents and teachers! Poor handwriting can evolve from difficultly in a mixture of factors, such as: motor planning, processing information from our sensory systems, remembering letter formation strokes, recognising all letters, spacing, organisation, alignment, pencil grip, pencil pressure, copying ability, and more.

At Kids In Sync we offer individual handwriting programmes including Speed Up which is a kinesthetic 1:1 programme run by one of our occupational therapists over 10 sessions. This programme helps to develop fluent handwriting, with noticeable improvement seen on completion. We can also offer handwriting group therapy during the school holidays, etc.
